Biltmore House – Mansion

The main entrance to the Biltmore House is in the center with the spiral staircase to its left and a solarium immediately to the right of the entrance.

Modeled after European castles, Biltmore House is adorned with stone carvings and artwork almost everywhere you look. Situated on an otherwise empty landscape designed by Olmstead, with few trees clothing the surrounding hills, the tremendous size of this building is not apparent until you are beside it.
