We have had a rather typical East Coast fall this year. The weather has cooperated sufficiently to offer some sunny days and bright colors, and I enjoy capturing artistry of nature I see around me. Enjoy these photos of fall and color.

Where there is no longer water in the canal, trees and undergrowth have chocked the old canal bed in many places. The canal towpath is still maintained for hiking and biking, but imagination is needed to imagine the canal itself. In the photo below, the canal is on the right.
